If you like to know menswear trends and you are curious to know what are the topics that inspire the collections of Ferragamo for the next fall/winter 2015-16? Then, this article of menswear trends is for you!
After analyzing the Etro and Fendi fashion shows, this time I wanted to continue with the presentation of Salvatore Ferragamo menswear trends. The images I share in this post were taken during the international event “Milano Moda Uomo” 2015, where they were presented all the innovations of prêt-à-porter menswear trends.
Ferragamo menswear trends for F/W 2015-16:
The famous brand Salvatore Ferragamo, under the creative direction of Massimiliano Giornetti proposes a collection inspired by an exhibition at the Tate Gallery in London, where they were exposed objects of folk art created by soldiers and sailors who, through their own creations told as seen and lived in distant countries.
Again, this talented designer has projected a menswear collection with refined, elegant and sophisticated spirit, but this time with a touch of romance, which was reflected by leather jackets with drawings of owls, monkeys and flowers also in coats embroidered with images of monkeys, zebras and flamingos and especially in coats and jackets embroidered with birds flying. The silhouette took a dense character due to the overlapping of the garments, the heavy sweaters and the bulky scarves. They could not go unnoticed the three-quarter length coats (also seen in the collections of AMI Alexandre Mattiussi,Calvin Klein and Lanvin).
The firm Ferragamo presented us a rich palette colors in autumn tones that go from dark green to burgundy and where the predominant color was the gray. Regard to the accessories, I would say the most important were the maxi scarves; some were woven by hand, others in cashmere with fringes and others in wool plaids fabric embroidered with dragonflies. Were also visible; the neck skin of wild sheep with alamar button, the belts in leather with belt loops in contrast, and of course, the maxi bags and shoes that mixed different qualities and color shades of leathers.
It wouldn’t be right to finish this post without showing you the pics with development and evolution step by step of the fashion illustration so, here is it:
Have a nice day! 🙂
